Ancient Vampire Council Splits Over Human Tech Integration

By Lysandra Vale • Night of May 24, 2025 • Prague

The once-unified Vampire Council has fractured into rival factions following the unauthorized release of research concerning “daylight rings”—arcane-tech hybrids designed to let vampires walk under the sun.

The Prague Accord, a pact forged in blood and secrecy over 900 years ago, may soon crumble under modern pressures. Leaked files show several European clans collaborating with mortal inventors in an underground lab beneath Kraków.

“This is blasphemy,” said Elder Corvin of the Iron Fang Line. “The sun is sacred and forbidden. If we twist fate to mimic mortality, we deserve to burn.”

Opposing him is Duchess Serel of the Ivory Vow, who argues for progress. “Survival demands evolution. The mortals wield machines of death. If we cannot match them, we vanish.”

Neutral covens are calling for a midnight conclave next month, to be held in the ruins of Old Vienna. Until then, tension simmers, and whispers of preemptive strikes echo in the shadows.

For now, the Accord bleeds. And the world watches in darkness.
